Unfortunately, I am announcing the last update for Attack on Reality. Kodansha, the company rights holder to Attack on Titan, has recently contacted another AoTVR game, Attack on Quest. They were worried that due to the game’s size, it may negatively impact their upcoming official game, Attack on Titan VR Unbreakable. While discussions between the company and AoQ are on hold, due to Kodansha’s stance on not wanting any fangames regardless of whether they are free or not, current public views on Unbreakable, as well as the state of AoR, I have decided to cancel development of Attack on Reality. With how progress was going, we would not have been able to release Update 2 before Unbreakable releases, and we would still most likely gain a takedown request.

I have uploaded a video going into further detail, as well as a last gamejolt post showing the work that was done from May to now. I will still keep Update 1 up on GameJolt, Itch, and Sidequest, though it may get taken down in the future. I created a Patreon to help support multiplayer servers. I will be closing that and splitting the amount earned and giving it to the team. 

Through the 5 years spent working on this project, I really enjoyed the time spent interacting with everyone and working with the wonderful team. I can not thank you all enough for your support and help. I apologize for not being able to release the game.
